Recycle your packaging
Recycling packaging is everybody's responsibility, it:
- Reduces consumption of virgin raw materials
- Minimises waste sent for landfill disposal
Packaging that is suitable for recycling often displays a recyclng logo:

Some materials have their own individual logo.

To find out how you can actually recycle packaging you can contact the Environment Agency or your local Council who can provide advice on recycling.
The Government has developed a National Waste Strategy which details its policies on packaging waste. To find out more you can look on DEFRA's web site www.defra.gov.uk.
