Carol Smillie talks about a recent EWM Photo shoot
Fresh from the sun kissed beaches of South Africa, Carol Smillie tells us about the EWM Spring / Summer collections she was modelling there.
So how was South Africa?
“It was fabulous! It was my second time there and I had great fun with the EWM team. I also have friends in South Africa so it was good to catch up with them. Don’t get me wrong, there was work involved too! I actually made a film of the photo shoot for my website for people to have a look.”
Which pieces of clothing caught your eye?
“I really liked the red mac. I wouldn’t usually wear red though I thought it looked great.”
“The navy and white stripe T shirt also springs to mind”.
“There are lots of tops in the new collections which I think would look great with a pair of jeans.”
“The new trousers were very comfortable and had flattering cuts. I think that loyal EWM customers will notice that they’re even more comfortable than the last ranges.”
“And the cashmere of course! I love wearing cashmere, so the new collection went down well also.”

How do you think the new collections will go down with customers?
“I think people who haven’t been into an EWM store for a while will be surprised by their new collections. They have a really fresh and funky look and feel.”
Do you prefer to shop in store or online?
“I like both to be honest. I like to shop for friends and family online. I think the new EWM website looks great!”
